Seaver Fever

We stayed at my parent's house.  I think I slept in or took a nap every morning!  Funny how my definition of luxury is sleeping in until my body decides it's time to wake up.  Pure luxury.  And despite what the title suggests, none of us got sick during our stay.  Hallelujah!

I came down one morning and found a play-doh party.  Then Scarlett informed me that "Blue dragons come from fireworks and red dragons come from toots."  Just go with it.

One twirls picked up some new tricks...

Aunt Jami bought Scarlett a Marshall purse to go in her collection....
Then Scarlett told Jami "You're still my best friend even though you live far away! I love all my Marshalls you buy me. You're my best friend. I also want a space Marshall, a unicorn Marshall, a sparkle Marshall, a jewelry Marshall, a pink Marshall, and just lots of Marshalls because you're my best friend! I love you." Oh boy.

Balloons:

Scarlett was getting dressed and exclaimed "my shoes are stubborn!"  haha!  I didn't even know she knew that word!

We played this awesome telephone-telephone/pictionary game one night.  Hilarious!  After 12 rounds "cricket" became "lady bug fart" and can you tell what this picture is:
Clearly it should be "sea sick" but for whatever reason I could not see the guy puking over the edge of a boat.  Instead I only saw a guy standing in front of a boat getting his eye poked out?!?  So I wrote down "boat poke your eye out".   Classic bottle-blond moment.

Scarlett was worn out every night.

One evening we celebrated Jami's bday.  Scarlett came in the room and yelled "Let's get the party started!"

Aunt Jami let Scarlett Scarlett help her blow out the candles. Mom bought the trick candles so there were many opportunities to practice blowing them out - Scarlett loved that! When we finally thought they were done, my dad started taking the cake away. A candle relit. Right then Scarlett sneezed all over the cake and blew out the candle. It was hilarious and disgusting all at the same time. And yes, we still ate it. It was ice cream cake for cryin out loud.

Then Scarlett read Jami's cards to us:

My dad put Jake to work on finding parts for his "new" Mach 1 and digging in the back yard.

You're never too young to work when you're around my dad.  Even Scarlett helped mow the lawn and the twirls helped with some auto-detailing.

Grammy is too fun!

We brought our PeaPod tents (love!), their dream lights, and the sound machine.  They slept so well!  Before nap one day I asked Scarlett to turn on their sound machine.  They followed her over to it.  She started pointed to parts and saying "Here is the gear to turn it on and make it loud. This is the speaker where the sound comes out."  She's such a good big sis!

Jami and I rocking our DW shirts!  Darn BBC and their crazy season scheduling.  We need more Doctor - now!  If only I had a TARDIS.....

When Berlyn & Braxtyn come over it's like the rest of us are invisible to Scarlett.  Any questions or suggestions for her must first go through Brack or Pean.  Silly goose.

This week I saw all my nieces on both sides of the family.  Berlyn got a pixie cut and glasses (yes!) and four of them had pink/red in their hair.  Four!  They might not think they're copying me, but I definitely paved the way for them by making extreme hair color less-extreme to their parents.  So, basically what I'm trying to say is, you're welcome ladies.  You're welcome.

Thanks, you are correct about the hair. I loooooove that car! I also love that Scarlett makes it clear she can be bought. And I totally love my sleep. I frequently take naps, probably way more often than someone my age should

Love the blog pix. I can totally see why they won't let regular missionaries have electronic stuff; it takes time. However, I'm a Senior and not in Russia yet so I get to splurge and watch the blog. Mom

That guy in the photo with Mary's #3: isn't that---? What's the story behind that photo? And is #3 now a Neon Trees fan? - Elder Glauser
