Time to Guess: Boys or Girls

Before telling you all what we're having, I thought it would be fun to have everyone submit their guess. So leave a comment with what you think we're having.
Hint: they're identical, so guessing one boy and one girl would be wrong... just sayin...
I'm finally over my all-day sickness.  I've been feeling soooo much better.  I've started feeling "shocks" on my belly.  Like a sharp sensation but it doesn't really hurt.  I was worried about it, but the OB said it's a totally normal type of round ligament pain.  Weird.

Things are going great.  Right now they are about 8 oz each!  Since they are the same there is no indication of TTTS thus far.  I'm surprised they don't weigh more because I'm hungry ALL THE TIME.  Seriously... I'll eat enough dinner to make myself uncomfortably full then just a few hours later my belly's growling again.
(I like the top right picture cause one baby is using the other one as a pillow... haha!)

The other day I came across this list of factors that make you more likely to have twins:

  • She is of West African descent (especially Yoruba)
  • She is between the age of 30 and 40 years
  • She is greater than average height and weight
  • She has had several previous pregnancies
So basically, I don't know why we were so surprised.  Clearly we should have expected this.  :-)

I guess girls! Can't wait to hear!! Cute ultrasounds! And my round ligament pain was AWFUL. I think it's because you get so big so fast.

I will be the first to guess! I say two boys. It was so good to see you guys this week! Sadie asked when we were going to play with Scarlett again, and I told her you were going back to Michigan. She said, "oh that's so sad! I think that they should get a house here." Me too Sadie, me too!

Oh I guess I was too slow to be the first!

Girls girls girls! Though you didn't say hermaphrodites were out of the running and with surgery you could choose one of each....Something to think about

Boys! but I was positive Scarlett was a buy, so I guess they are girls.. I don't care, I'm just so EXCITED for two babies!!

I'd have to guess boys. I think that would be an easier adjustment for Scarlett. But in case that's wrong my second guess is girls. So happy they are doing well. I can't see their faces very well, but I just know they are adorable.

Love you!

I'm guessing boys as well, since the all the time sickness has passed. Seems like friends having girls stay sick longer. Totally not scientific.

Girls! And we want them to be healthy and you also. Love Grandma

I'll say girls - simply because having three little girls in the house is so much drama!...Um... I meant fun, yeah - that's what I meant ;o) Either way, I KNOW they will be beautiful babies! Scarlett doesn't know what she's in for!

Girls!! I might be partial, though. I have something for you and your waffles, by the way. :)

Girls. I'm with Jami. I was sure Scarlett was going to be a boy too. So this time I'm giving in early and just assuming everything from here on is girls.

I'm voting boys. I actually was involved in a coin toss today that we had to take three tries to make work, so I didn't bother to flip a coin for my guessing...

So I'll just say boys.

But I would like to reaffirm my commentary about all the gender possibilities from when I saw you at your parents' place.

If you have boys and if I have a girl, I'll send you all my clothes, so I'll guess boys.

I would love boys; but family tradition says you will have girls. No matter what, you are going to have fun. We have another set of girl twins in the new Sunbeam class. They are so cute. They are not identical (thank goodness). Names are Ava (red hair) & Elyse. I was struggling to remember their names when their Mom said Ava and "red" each have 3 letters, so now it's easy. Seriously, you will have to teach memory tricks to all the adults. Can't wait to hear.
Love, Mom
PS Dad is enjoying your colds and refuses to take Z-pak. Oh well. He's missed 2 days of work so far.

I have been debating about this all day. I am guessing boys.

Statistically speaking from Glauser families, you should be having two girls because none of us ever have more than one boy. Plus, that would give you a jump on the Glauser four-girl-one-boy sibling pattern.

HOWEVER, Twin A in picture 34 of the ultrasound looks to maybe have a little boy part...so my official guess is boys. Glausers also statistically never have twins, so you might as well mess up all the math with two boys!

P.S. My first word confirmation asked for an umlaut. How am I supposed to type that?! No jots or tittles on this next one, so it should work. :)

So, who was right? I looked and looked at the pictures, but I couldn't see anything. It looks like the babies are modest at least. Tell us, tell us!
