Puppy Monkey Baby

I decided that I was going to catch up on our blog before I have this baby.  And since I keep mentally trying to induce labor, I thought I better buckle down and blog in case my method actually works!  So here are a ton of photos and stories from February...

Jake told me one day that his Google news feed was contaminated with stories of new My Little Pony episodes and the unvieling of the new Barbie bodies.  #DadOfGirls

We took our whole family to clean the church and the girls were actually helpful!

Jami loves this photo - Jaide throwing a tantrum in full vogue fashion.

One time Scarlett told Jami (while watching Thomas the Train) "That's ridiculous!  *laughing*  A steam engine wearing a diesel engine buffer!"

Our little mechanics...

Scarlett to Jami "Ya, I grew up last night.  Like a garden.  Just went to sleep and woke up all grown up.  That's how gardens work... an me."

Remember our Green Peapod tents?  The girls love playing in them (puppy house).  One day I joined in on the fun:

Aunt Jami is so fun!  Even with paper towels!  Whenever Siena gets an idea she says "hey, I know!"

Sisterly love.

My prisms make wonderful rainbows all over our entry!

The twirls doctoring their monster machines.

Playing with Aunt Jami's fun shoes.

We didn't watch a ton of the Superbowl, but we did see the creepy puppy monkey baby commercial and the Doritos ultrasound commercial.  The girls were just playing around during them, but apparently they made an impression cause the next morning Scarlett said "I want a puppy monkey baby.  And remember that baby in the tummy that wanted the chips?"

We were watching something on Youtube and it had a commercial before the clip.  Scarlett said "Uhh, I don't like commercials.  They take too long."  Little girl doesn't know how good she has it!  Back in my day we had to watch TV live - with all the commercial breaks!  ;-)

Our ROKU is getting old and needs to be restarted every so often.  When it starts up the logo letters do a little dance.  Scarlett started a tradition where the girls copy each letter's dance.  It's subtle but adorable!

Scarlett wanted her hair "smooth" - I can't believe how long it is!  And I love when the twirls wear their purses over their shoulders like big girls!

At the end of our dinner prayer every night Jaide yells "Let's eat!"  Jake says that sometimes, it's cute with the girls pick up on his little jokes!

Scarlett told me one day, "I just love that food from Mexico."  She was talking about Mexican food, but I just love how she said it.

One day I was leaving for a Dr appointment while Jami got feeding the girls eat popcorn on their trays.  Jaide didn't want me to leave, so when I went to the garage I found her like this...  And the other photo is what we do when we need to mix things up a little - toothpick lunches (my mom's idea).  Jaide loves to be naked, Siena hates it, and Scarlett gets paid to wear her clothes.  Haha!  Silly girls.

I fed Twilight Sparkle one day on our way out the door.  I accidentally poured too much food in her tank, but we were in a rush so I decided to leave it til we got home.  When we got home all the food was gone.  When you take a closer look at her belly (right next to her most forward fin) you can see where all the food went!  Oh my!

Scarlett being a goofball at Kyla's bday pty.

Babysitting Baby Noah.  The girls still talk about him.  They're smitten.

Fun days! I'd forgotten about the startup music for our Tivo. The boys loved to watch it and dance along whenever we had to reboot it. In fact, we'd just run the song for them over and over sometimes because they loved it so much. Haha! Thanks for bringing back that memory!

We still have nudity issues at our house. At some point they don't want to walk around naked at home, right???
