Her flight was rescheduled due to her terrible kidney infections. By the time she was feeling better (luckily right before Christmas) Scarlett told Miss Laura "My Aunt Jami is peeing yellow and clear now, not red! So she gets to come to Michigan!" haha!
The twirls call Jami "Siggy" which I mentioned before, we have no idea why. But I think it comes from "Sicky!" haha!
The girls had a ton of fun playing with Aunt Jami.
We got a babysitter and took Jami to see the new Star Wars movie on opening day!
Aunt Jami has the best ideas!
Craft time...
Jaide is so cute. Whenever she accomplishes something and makes herself proud she'll say "I did it!" and lift her arms over her head. "I did it!"
While Jami was here Scarlett confiscated all the light up toys and hid them from her. She was really worried about her seizures. Those two have a special bond.
Siena was such a stinker. She would say "Kiss Siggy?" As Jami would lean in she would yell "GO AWAY!" Then laugh. Little stinker. But eventually she'd give her those kisses.
We took Jami out to dinner before she left. Red Robin, Yuuuuum! The girls did pretty good. We had the waitress come sing to Scarlett for her birthday. She loved it! And Siena was chasing Jaide (behind me) in order to wipe her face off. haha!
Scarlett said to Jami on the last day she was here "This is the last day you get to hear the word 'pouchette.'" What?! Hahaha! I have never heard her say that before. What a silly girl!
Four months with Jami here was fabulous. But it really sucked when she left. I don't think I could have survived such a difficult pregnancy without her. The girls really got used to having all the extra attention. Between the two of us the girls were always entertained. So you can imagine the difficult transition it was after she left. On the way home from the airport Scarlett cried and cried and cried. I couldn't console her so I just did the only thing I could think - I wrote down what she was saying so I could blog it! (I got her to calm down for ice cream with sprinkles). This is what she said while she was crying: "I miss Aunt Jami. She's a special friend. She's the most special friend of all. I wish she could stay. A few weeks is too long [I told her that we would see her in a few weeks... slightly stretching the truth]. I want her to go with me where I go. *crying for 20 min* Mom, I have some serious boogers. I want to send her a letter to tell her how much I miss her. I really really really miss her right now. Aunt Jami's so super smart and we really really miss her. Aunt Jami's so special to me. It's not the same without Aunt Jami. Aunt Jami's so perfect. My bedroom's creepy now cause Aunt Jami kept it so safe. I like Aunt Jami the most. I love all of her. I love her too much that I want to draw her and send her the picture." and on and on.............
The next day Scarlett did better, but the twirls asked several times "Where'd Siggy go?" or "Siggy tummy hurt, Siggy go home." It's been a few weeks since she left and they still ask where she is every now and then.
I told Scarlett that since Aunt Jami gave her that pink bear, if she misses her she could squeeze it and it would be like a hug from her.

Sisters are the best!!! I'm so sad that she had to go home. :-( But I'm glad you had a nice visit and she was there to take care of you!
Oh wow---I don't think anyone can measure up to Jami; she is fantastic!
