This is my favorite picture from this month *LOVE!!!!*
Scarlett started ballet again with Kaylie.
After class we went on a walk outside the building with our fancy friends! Look at all these girls! (Poor James was the only boy).
One morning Scarlett came to tell me the girls had woken up. While I was still in bed I told her to go tell the twirls that I'm coming. I heard her walk down the hall and say to herself: "no you're not." haha! The best part was I wasn't planning on getting out of bed, I just wanted her to distract them for a few min. I went through a few weeks where I was adjusting meds and it was sooo hard to get out of bed. Thankfully that phase is over. But there were a few "incidences" where Scarlett tormented her caged sisters. Once I found her "painting" with lotion on their beds and using all the clean towels from the closet to make a big pile (?) She has learned a lot from having to clean up after herself!
The twirls think they're ready for ballet too!
But really she does love her sisters. Sometimes she likes to hold them and pretend their "babies" - they don't usually think this is fun.
I love finding evidence of their little imaginations around the house.
Mega-fort. It's really the only way I can mop the floor in peace.
Little enginerds! We finally introduced the twirls to the marble toy - they were enamored with it!
When we're late to church (often, *cough cough*) we like to listen from the primary room. I wish we could just camp in here all the time, but I realize it's not helping the girls learn to be reverent and sit still. So we look forward to the crazy days that lead us here.
I told Scarlett she did a great job after getting her shots. She said "I'm a super hero, you know." I love that she's wearing little high heels with her cape!
- "A somersault is when you do it in the summer"
- "I need to take s shower cause I smell awkward." (this one still cracks me up!)
- "I like to sleep with my foot poking out from the covers... just like you mom!" (I didn't realize she noticed that! It's my temperature stabilizing foot - I can move it in and out to adjust my temp)
- "I get clovers in my fingers sometimes..." (Not sure what that means, maybe when they fall "asleep"?)
These Frozen puzzles (there are 7) she puts together EVERY DAY! She is obsessed with them! And she finally finished her rainbow pillow craft. Now it is included in her bedtime "gear". There's: Marshall, Rainbow Dash the Pony (not the fish), her water cup, her 2 pillows, burp cloth for her nose if it runs, puppy star light, alarm clock from Snort, 2 fleece blankets from Aunt Jami, and an assortment of knick knacks. She's also very specific about her bedtime ritual: 1 book, 3 songs usually all about Rainbows, a prayer, then: 10 hugs, 10 kisses, 10 ugga muggas, 10 pushes (where we just push on her chest and bounce her - weird, I know - I have no idea how she thought of that), and 10 tickles. "Tickles Last!" If we forget anything she will scream and cry when she realizes it - and she WILL realize it at some point during the night. Poor OCD child. I have no idea where she gets it. ;-)
Here's a longish video of them rocking and singing along to the piano.
Jaidey Lady sure loves dress ups and even likes wearing my clothes!
Here Jaide is feeding her kitty some lunch. And the other photo is when she was dipping her orange in ranch dressing (gross!) these girls just LOVE dip!
The twirls were feeding each other and I just caught the very end of it:
We had these balloons for Emily's shower and Jaide just walked around with them all day haha!
Siena fell asleep in the car. It doesn't happen often, so I had to capture the sweet moment.
These silly girls wanted to wear TWO tu-tus each!
I had a few experiences this month where I really could see God's hand in my life. Weaving us together to lift each other up. I'm not sure why it always surprises me. Every time. But it is humbling to think that He's so personally involved in our day to day lives and He wants us all to be happy.
Jake told me that at least THIRTY different people from work, at different times, have said to him "Hi, Jake...... from State Farm." Oh my goodness, State Farm really hit it on the head with that advertising campaign! Remember when Jake was on the news? Even that guy used the same joke. Jake does a good job of playing along and acting like they were the first person to think of it.
So when Jake came home from Mi-Chicago we thought we'd be back to normal work ours. But he got pulled into this prototype build that basically was the same work schedule as Chicago - but at least he was home! That meant 12-15 hour days regularly and working most Saturdays. Then I went into Anaphylaxis. Literally the next day he went to work and they told him that they needed him to move back to PDC to work on a project that was really behind. It's like Heavenly Father knew I was at. my. limit. Literally! Well his last morning with the prototype launch guys, they were in their big group meeting and they gave Jake an Employee Appreciation Award. He's got a few so far cause he's so awesome ;-) But this time they told everyone that Jake was the reason that this build is back on schedule!!!!!!! I'm so proud of him! I know that Jake hates being away from home, but I'm glad that when he's at work he's making it happen! But I've also really enjoyed seeing my husband more often - and I know the girls have too!

Maybe she means she gets slivers in her fingers, instead of clovers?
I can remember sitting in the car for over an hour once when ALL THREE KIDS fell asleep. I think I just read coupons from my purse, took a little nap, and enjoyed the sweet peace. Hahaha!
