The day Jake became a smoker...

For the 4th of July we began our day doing the more patriotic thing we could think of.......... washing the mustang!

Scarlett took the liberty to shovel rocks into the trees.  Thanks!

Jake bought a smoker for our big BBQ.  It was his first time smoking meats!  Our house smelled amazing (hickory wood, in case you're into this stuff).

For our 4th celebration we invited a few families to celebrate with us (and the missionaries!)  It was a wonderful afternoon with perfect weather!

Jake set up the pool early in the day so the water would get warm.  Scarlett was so excited to swim, she couldn't wait for her friends.  I think she was out there for like 2 hours before our party started.  This video is when I caught her singing "Let it go"...

The party...

This little guy is a fish!

Snow cones!  In the recipe book that came with the snow cone machine they said sweetened condensed milk was one of their most popular add ins.  Turns out it was delicious!

I used my nail stamps to go all patriotic and Scarlett let me try this cute hairstyle.  Happy birthday America!!!
