Last week we were playing outside and I put sunscreen on all of us. Later that night I realized the sunscreen had paraben in it - because I broke out in hives. Lovely. The heat makes them worse - that's why at 2 am I woke up scratching furiously. Our room was sooo hot and sticky. The AC fan was blowing, but it wasn't making cold air. I woke Jake up 'cause I was miserable. We spent like an hour troubleshooting trying to figure it out with no luck. The next day (Sunday) our house got up to 81 degrees and humid. YUCK! We called around and got a repair guy that could come that night. So in the mean time we just tried to stay as comfortable as we could. Look at these rosy cheeks and humidity curls!
We escaped to the basement where it was a little cooler. It was the twirls first time on the trampoline/mega ball pit. They were timid at first, but they warmed up to it. Jake hung out with the kiddos while I cleaned the basement.
The repair guy came and discovered it was a blown capacitor. A quick fix and we had cold air again! Jake hooked him up with a bunch of Mustang swag and he left. It still took several hours for our house to finally chill down to a our happy 71 degrees! I love our AC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, Sienna's face (I think it is Sienna) is beet red. That is a little scary. I guess the only other thing would be to get in a cool tub of water. Glad you could get it fixed so quickly. Bless the repair man.
Love, Vickie
I understand completely. I love AC. I don't even have to think about the temperature in our house anymore. It's finally just nice. And I can even use the oven this summer. So great to have modern conveniences when they work.
MUST have AC. Summers in MI are miserable without it! Glad you found someone that could come right out and fix it.
We finally fixed our A/C issues this year and I love it (even though it ended up costing an arm and a leg).
81 + humidity = too hot!
