Grammy & Grumple: baby snuggles, piggy pancakes, and park fun!

The weekend that Skye was blessed we had both sets of grandparents in Michigan.  So fun!  We spent Saturday outside...
Love this picture of Jaide in mid-air.
All the moms in blankies...
Jake pulled out his sling shot and awesome easy-fill water balloons.

Then Grammy and Grumple stuck around for the week after the blessing.

Grumple was quizzing Scarlett on reading and he asked her "What does 'B' stand for?"  Scarlett replied "But.  Like 'But mom...'"  Grumple "What does that mean?"  "When you have money to go somewhere and your mom says no so you say 'but mom!'"  hahaha!

Skye likes reading too...

Piggy Pancakes for breakfast.  Scarlett ate everything on her plate!!!

Jake brought out his remote control car one afternoon.  The girls took turns using the remote to control each other.  Then the girls would run around with their arm held up to be an antenna - pretending to be the remote control car.  haha!

Their crocs were muddy so I told them to wear them in the shower.  Easy peesy lemon squeezy!

Nap time snuggles...

Not sure the seat between the twirls is supposed to be for adults (don't worry, we never drove with Skye out of the car seat).

Playing on the Meijer Horse.  Yee Haw!

Skye put Grumple down for a nap.  Then she went to Home Depot with him.

Skye watched TV with Grammy and watched the Broncos game with Grumple.

These girls played so hard!  They also got flu shots - there were tears, but they went away once the nurse brought otter pops.

Grammy overheard the girls talking in the shower.  Scarlett noticed that the ribbon on Jaide's shower pouf was untied:
Scarlett: "Oh Jaide, you broke it."
Jaide: "No I didn't."
Scarlett: "Well somebody had to do it."
Jaide: "It was Grammy."
hahahahaha!!!!!

Grammy assembling floor puzzles (those girls love puzzles!) and putting the twirls to bed.

Our stake does a big labor day picnic.  We got to see our favorite sister missionaries!

Scarlett got a rainbow painted on her cheek.  A girl wanted a Pokeball so I helped out (our YW were in charge of painting).  I did my best (I spent a lot of time around Pokemon when James was growing up).

The girls had a ton of fun playing on the playground.

We miss you Grammy and Grumple!  Come back soon!!!

Looks like a fantastic visit! Always nice to have someone else there to help with the babies. :-)
