Last Saturday Jake and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary!!! Marrying Jake was the best decision I've ever made. Period. He is my best friend and my favorite person! I'm so lucky to have him for all eternity!!!
We went out to a fancy restaurant (the kind with a wine list longer than the menu) were we talked about all we've accomplished in six years: 1 house, 3 kids, 6 cars, 4 apartments, 3 states, 5 companies, 3 degrees, 145,378 diapers, etc... We look forward to the next 6+ years!!!

We started doing a date night swap with the Sawayas when I was prego with the twins. But after they were born I told her I didn't think I could drop off all our girls at dinner time and have a relaxing date (I would be too worried about how much work 5 kids under 3 would be for 2 adults). Then we came up with the genius idea of dates AFTER the kids are in bed!!! Now every week Laura and I take turns going to each other's houses and watching TV on the couch while the kids sleep and the other couple goes out. Yes, it means two Fridays a month Jake and I are apart. But it also means two Fridays a month we get to hit the town! Bowling, dinner, movies, FroYo, the possibilities are endless!!! :-) We have done this for a few months now and it's AMAZING. I love dating my hubby. It's so fun to have a stress free evening to flirt and enjoy each other. And our girls have no idea!

Awww….so sweet. I remember when you were dating and you were visiting me and you slipped outside so you could be all mushy on the phone with Jake. :-)
