Uchtdorf's Doppleganger

This morning I turned off Scarlett's new favorite show (Paw Patrol) and told her I was turning on conference again.  She said "I like conference!"  :-)  Though, she wasn't so fond of it toward the end of the day (no more conference!) Yesterday I started having her say the names of each speaker.  President Uchtdorf got up and I said "say President Uchtdorf's name) this is what she said (with no prompting from us at all).

haha!  I love that!  Even this morning when he walked into the conference center she said "look, Grumple!"

We had French toast this morning with milk.  This was the first time in a long time that she's had plain milk without chocolate or strawberry powder mixed in.  She took a drink and put it down cause she didn't like it.  Normally when she doesn't like something she says "It's too... spicy/hot/sticky/yucky/etc" but this time she said "it's too.... it's too..... it's too........... it's too............... I don't like it."  haha!  We were just sitting there waiting for her to finish the sentence.  Apparently there are no words that describe how she dislikes plain milk.

The babies and Scarlett kept us awake/alert all of conference.  I'm sorry to admit this is the first conference in probably a long time that I didn't dose off at all.  Jake liked watching the Priesthood session from home - especially cause he was in the garage painting all day Saturday (more on that later).  We loved the messages from our leaders.  I'm so thankful that we have a living prophet on the earth today who can provide direction for our lives.  I take courage knowing that Heavenly Father is aware of the challenges we face and has provided council and hope for us through His apostles.  Some of our favorite quotes (from this blog - I cheered with her and her hubby grew up in my neighborhood!  She's so talented!)
