Red Dot Scare

Sunday morning I noticed a red dot on Jaide's cheek - in the EXACT SPOT as Siena's infantile hemangioma!!!  I'll admit I was freaking out cause I use that spot to identify who I'm holding all the time.  but during the day it faded.  By the time I took this picture in the evening you can barely see it.  I have no idea what was going on but that was a cruel trick indeed.

We are a spectacle when we go out.  Especially somewhere with a shopping cart and our long double stroller - it's a full Glauser train.  We had 3 different people come stop us to chat at Meier last Saturday and lots of other comments "got your hands full!"  "two babies?"  "boy, you're outnumbered with all these girls" etc...  It's going to get really crazy when I have the triplets in a few years!
We call the twins "Jaidey Lady" and "Siena Nena" or "Sinena" (see-nen-a) cause that's what Scarlett calls her.

Right now Jaide can roll from tummy to back and turn 90deg, plus she likes to hold her feet while laying on her back.  Siena loves to splash her feet when she's in the bath tub and she is more into chewing on stuff and sucking on her binky right now.  At night when they're falling asleep in their cribs they both will lift their legs and smack them down on the mattress.  It sounds like something crazy is going on in their room - but nope, just little tiny leg slams!

They are looking so identical!

I try and guess who woke up first by their cry.  I can usually tell them apart.  Jaide's cry is more emotional - like I've offended her somehow.  Siena's cry is more demanding - like she's yelling at me for not feeding her that instant.

Eating whichever hand is closest.

Napping together.  I really have had to mentally force myself to stop what I'm doing during the day and hold my babies.  I really like to get stuff done and be busy.  But I know they won't want me to hold them for much longer - so I keep reminding myself.  I love snuggling them and when they hold my hands.  Love my little ladies!

They're so cute. I wish I were closer so I could love them up more!

I'm glad the red dot thing turned out to just be a scare--it's so handy to be able to tell them apart!

Mysterious red dots and brown dots. October has given you a lot of colors to write about.

I love the picture of one of them sucking on the other's fist. (I'm not even going to try to guess which is which.)
