No More Eggs

Scarlett loves her sisters!  One Saturday morning Jake and I heard her get up and go in their room to play with them.  Jake finally decided to go check on them - she had filled their cribs with pillows and toys!  AND she was putting lotion on them.  haha!  Oh my!  I'm glad she loves them, even if we have to mediate.  (in case you're wondering, we put a child lock on their door so she can't go in there alone anymore).

Scarlett invented a new game to play with Jaidey-Lady.  Sorry the first 30 seconds are sideways.

The weekend I stopped nursing was rough.  I ended up pumping once just for some relief (I kept waking up every time I rolled over).  But it's been almost 2 weeks now and things are going smoothly.  I think we're starting to figure out this whole bottle thing.  I can't believe how much formula we go through!  Like a huge box every week!  But it's nice that Scarlett can help me feed them (even if she only wants to help for like 10 seconds).  Siena is getting pretty good at holding her own bottle, Jaide doesn't even try.

Siena is really into rolling around the room.  Jaide just likes to sit and play with whatever is close by.

Little cuties LOVE to eat!  Jake gave them chocolate animal crackers as a special treat.  They were in heaven!

Last Saturday I made scrambled eggs for breakfast.  We gave the babies a few bites (my doctor said that eggs were fine at this point - I know different doctors say different things...)  anyways...  the girls had already eaten, but they each had a few little bites of the eggs.  Then like 5 minutes later Siena threw up a ton!  Gooey, sticky, egg slop all down her belly.  We stripped them down and put them in the sink for a quick rinse.  It was their first time taking a sink bath!  I couldn't get over how cute they looked!  After we got them all dry and in clean jammies - Jaide threw up a ton!  I was worried that they had a stomach bug but there were no other symptoms the rest of the day.  That evening however I did notice a rash on Siena's belly.  I think they might be allergic to eggs.  I will probably wait til after they turn 1 to try scrambled eggs again.  The pain of cleaning up all that scrambled egg vomit is still to fresh...

Some pictures of their teeth - I couldn't get all of Jaide's in one shot.

FYI - my mother is very allergic to eggs as well as most of the females on her side of the family. So egg allergy is a big thing on our side of the family. I just didn't inherit it thankfully. (Had quiche tonight)I love that you send so many posts of the girls. I feel like I am almost right there with you. Thank you; it comforts this grandmother's heart.

I CANNOT handle how cute those babies in the sink are!!! It makes me want to have babies in my sink. That'd be pretty strange, since I have no babies, and it would kind of be a surprise to turn around and see babies in my sink, but it's just SO CUTE!!!!!

Sorry about the egg thing. Allergies are a pain….hopefully it was just a fluke!
