One morning, Christy, M., Jake's Dad, and our family went to the aquarium. The two girls had a blast! It was so fun to see the exhibits through their eyes.
Can you see Jake's penguin twin?
I love their excitement for the fishies!
She finally got the courage to pet the snake!
Scarlett knew exactly what this machine was for since I try to get the souvenir coins wherever we go.
Christy mentioned to me that she couldn't believe how much more work two babies are than one. I felt so validated by that comment. Like all my exhaustion was justified.

Oh Jenni your exhaustion is more than justified!! One baby is exhausting. Two babies....well, there just isn't a word for that. Shnarphenblugen. There. Now there is a word for it. It is shnarphenblugen and you are ROCKING it and making it look easy. You are AWESOME! And you will get through this and you will, some day, look back and because you were so tired you won't remember much. Wait....that was supposed to be encouraging and I got derailed. Whatever. You're great! Keep up the good work!
Your exhaustion is TOTALLY justified--especially because you don't just have twins, you also have a toddler. I am exhausted just thinking about it. I guess I'll take a nap in your honor.
Amen to LL and More Bacon! You are completely justified in being exhausted- physically, emotionally, mentally, etc! Remember how I kept thinking I was having twins at your house? That happened again the other day. I had the thought that I needed to do another load of laundry because I didn't have enough clean onesies for both babies. It freaked my freak and I had a minor panic attack. You are one of just a few people I know that has the right personality to handle twins. And even if someday you have to check yourself into an institution, we won't judge you. We'll all just acknowledge that you were able to hold out much longer than we could have. :)
Looking at the adventures you're giving Scarlett with twins in tow, I am amazed! This post actually makes me miss the toddler years...a little bit!
