Then when Jake was in UT we went up to Draper to hang out at his folks for a few days. Plus they live close by the Bodens. Scarlett LOVES her cousin M.! I think M. liked having someone younger than her to play with. She was so nice to Scarlett and would help her and take care of her. It made me sad that we don't live close by so they could play together more often.
Grandma is so fun! She was out in the sun pushing the girls while Jake, Christy, and I relaxed in the shade with the babies.
The Bodens put us to work! Scarlett helped the girls in the garden. I think she was astonished that vegetables came from the ground and not the grocery store.
Christy told Jake how their weed wacker wouldn't start most days. Jake put his internal combustion knowledge to work and tuned the carburetor to get it working just right. He even took it for a test spin.
We had lots of girly fun at the Bodens!
Lunch with the Glauser girls.
Nap time!
Playing with Grandma...
...and Grandpa!
Scarlett found my green and yellow hairbands I use to keep track of what side to nurse on. She came in the room to show me that she "match mommy!" :-D
Aunt Carolyn took Scarlett on a walk. They even got to feed a horse.
Game night.
We went to the Bodens to watch BYU football. I have many fond memories of watching the games at their house. Even when they had Miley - the "allergy free" dog who I am terribly allergic to!
The crazy girls watching a movie upstairs. Jake and Jaide taking a nap during the weather delay.
Scarlett ran into a wood post and gave herself a giant goose egg. Luckily (if you can call it lucky) it was 4 hours AFTER we took our family pictures at Camera Shy.
Scarlett may have finally outgrown the bumbo...
Unfortunately most of the time we were at their house the twins were really fussy. We think they were teething. Scarlett did the same thing where the teeth would bother her then get better, worse, better, then finally they would poke through. They both had swollen gums in the same place and would stop crying if we rubbed their gums. It might seem a little early to teeth, but I got my first tooth at 2.5 months. So ya, we're kind of overachievers like that.

Love those sweet girls--so glad you got to have so much family time with both families! And I bet the girls loved having a never-ending stream of family to love them!
How fun! Grandmas are the BEST!
Thanks you for blogging; we love it all. So much fun to see all of you; can't wait to see you again.
Next year will be lots of fun and lots less stress when the girls have a full set of teeth. We loved spending time with you all!
