Jami flew out to spend Halloween with us. It was so fun to see Jami thriving - FINALLY! We have all prayed and waited so long for our Jami to come back from the depths of her Cushing's Disease! And that day has arrived! Yay! It truly is a miracle. One that her stake president/institute teacher/family friend makes her tell over and over to all of his classes. haha!
Jami was here for our primary program. Scarlett got up to the microphone, she had to bend over to talk into it cause she's taller than everyone else in her class (especially since she was wearing heels). She said her part from memory "I can follow the prophet by watching general conference and being reverent." When she got up there the twirls exclaimed "it's Scarlett!" After she was done Jaide started to clap! haha! They were all so proud of her!
Jami told Scarlett she's so grown up, she replied: "thanks I love to watch general conference now so I can see the prophet and obey him." Grown up indeed!
Jami gave the twirls candy corn and took these ADORABLE photos. Love these two!
I woke up one morning and did Scarlett's hair for school into a zig zag pony tail. Jami did the twirls hair later that day and put hair into zig zag pony tails! No way!!! When we were teenagers we would come home from school and often be wearing the same clothes. I guess great minds really do think alike!
Baby Skye loves her Aunt Jami. Jami loves baby Skye's chunky legs!
Scarlett gave Jami this advice: "You should get married so you can have a baby. Maybe you could find a mommy with a baby boy and wait for him to grow up and marry him."
We went to the helmet doctor. The twirls love playing on the "rainbow computer". Then Jami let the twirls drink water in little to-go cups. So cute!
If you know Jami at all, then you know she is a germaphobe. Well within days of being here Jami's phone fell in the potty. Haha! So sad but so funny!
I put Jami to work assembling scholastic book order forms for Scarlett's kindergarten class.
Jami LOVES thanksgiving, so November 1st she was excited to put Skye in her turkey bum outfits.
Jami putting the girls to bed. Yes, one of them is climbing on her back.
We took Jami to a cider mill - it's a Michigan fall staple. Such a fun time of year!
When we were walking through the crowd Scarlett pointed and yelled "Look! A teenager!" haha!
These girls are so cute!
Some of the best apple cider and donuts!
We had extra cider to take home. Had to keep it safe!
