Walkie Talkie

The girls are really changing fast these days.  Siena started walking not long after Jaide.  This video was taken a few weeks ago.  Since then they have been walking everywhere.  They're still "toddling" but the often choose to walk places, even if they eventually have to crawl.

They are starting to talk a lot more too.  You can hear Siena say "I did it" in this video.  They are working hard at fastening the buckles.  Oh my, looks like we have two more enginerds!  :-)

They love playing with cars and trucks:

I love when they play in the toy room or around they house that they will often follow each other.  They really like to hang out together.

One afternoon Jake and I were each holding a baby.  They leaned over to each other and hugged and kissed on their twin.  Oh my goodness.  It was so cute!!!!  Jake and I just looked at each other like "oh my goodness - can you believe that?!"

Jaide is the hugger, she'll lay her head on my shoulder and snuggle.  Siena is the kisser, if she leans into you with her mouth open as wide as possible - that's the signal that she wants to give you a slobbery kiss!!!

Jaide loves to play peek-a-book with our curtains:

She also loves to wear sunglasses.  Really that means she brings them to me, I put them on her, she takes them off and hands them to me, I put them on her, she takes them off and hands them to me, I put them on her, ..... well, you get the idea.

I only let them use their binkies at nap time, bed time, or in the carseats.  Sometimes Jaide just needs a fix.

Siena found this hat, put it on and wore it around the house for a long time!

Siena found my bowl and a napkin.  I was about to take it from her until I realized she was ripping the napkin into pieces then putting each piece into the bowl.  What a smart little girl - coming up with her own fine motor skill practice cause her mom is too lazy to recreate all the cute ones from Pinterest.  :-)

Siena's figured out how to climb into Scarlett's polka dot chair.  I found her lounging like this watching TV.  Wonder where she learned that......

Wow--that is so cool seeing Sienna walk. Okay now I want to see Jaide hit this big milestone. Oh, and we love the picture of the red had lady. The fact that she wore it for so long tells us she knows what she was doing. This is such a great age & it's fun to have both of them to entertain (or exasperate) each other.

It's so crazy to see walking! That makes them seem so much older all of a sudden. Is it getting any easier yet?
