Grumple Visits

My dad was in town last week.  Well, more accurately, he was: in town, out of town, in town, out of town, in town, and out of town.

He used our home as headquarters during a very busy week.  He was in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.  When he arrived it was really humid and hot, the next visit it was raining cats and dogs (meeoow!), and the last visit it was crispy fall weather.  Crazy Michigan.  The first night Jaide threw up all over and the girls were all sick, but by the end of the week we were all ready to play with Grumple!

I love that my dad is able to visit us during his travels.  It was so nice to hang out and spend time together.  I usually don't let myself throw a pity party when we leave our family, but there may have been a few tears shed when he drove away...

I saw this video online and wanted to try it.  If I do it again, I would start with a bigger apple.  My dad wanted to take a picture of it too, but by the time he got his phone out Scarlett had decapitated our swan!
