James & Hailey's Wedding Dinner
One of the first few nights we were in Utah Jake and I went to James & Hailey's Wedding Dinner.
They played this cute game where they had to answer questions like "who will do the cooking once you're married?" by lifting up his or her shoes.
Then after the dinner we all watched their wedding story video. I put together this 18 min video using pictures, video clips, and music that James and Hailey gave me a few weeks earlier. During the countless hours of late-night editing I got to know them better as individuals and as a couple. They are SO PERFECT together! I'm so excited to have Hailey as my SIL!
When we got back to the Glauser home my in-laws told me that my girls cried and cried and cried. Eventually the babes fell asleep and Scarlett took a fifteen minute catnap between tantrums all curled up by the front door wearing nothing but a diaper!!!

Thanks so much for putting the video on, it is lovely and know it took many hours to make. Sorry we didn't get to visit very long. The girls were so cute and so big, every one looked so pretty in their dresses at the reception. Lots of love Grandma
They shouldn't have told you about the crying. As long as you're not there, you should believe everyone is as happy as you are at that moment!
It's super weird to me, btw, to see Jake in all your family pictures, on vacations with your side.
I always (1) felt bad that they cried and I wasn't there to fix it and (2) was glad that I didn't have to fix it. A mixed bag, to be sure.
I met your darling SIL at my brother's wedding in February - she is a perfect fit for our/your family! So happy to have her join this crazy gang!!

Your in-laws are so tough. I'm glad they took your girlies so you could have a nice night with grown ups. :)
