James & Hailey's CA Open House

You know what our trip needed more of?  DRIVING!  Well that's what I chose to tell myself as we began the 10 hour journey from Orem, UT to Pollock Pines, CA.  

James and Hailey had their CA reception in her hometown on May 10.  I was debating whether or not to drag the girls across two more states but decided we needed to go and see my Grandma Hanna.  I drove the whole way there!  The girls enjoyed this trip a lot more cause they had Berlyn & Braxtyn to entertain them.  On the way home I had a chance to ride in the back.

The girls and I shared a suite with Jami.  We put a clean sheet on the floor and let the girls rolls around.  Watch this video to see how cute they were being:

Bath time has been much easier with all the extra hands to help wash, lotion, and dress the girls.

Two babies! Oh wait... I think it's going to be hard to teach them the concept of a mirror...

Scarlett's cheek was the same height as the heavy hotel door handle.  Poor girlie.

All the girls slept in my room with me.  A mom's job is 24/7.

Scarlett had a ton of fun with her 2nd cousin (my cousin Richie's little boy).  And yes, that's a blueberry pizza.

The twirls got to meet Grandma Hanna.

We went to church with the Meadows.  Scarlett grabbed my skirt from behind and said "mom look!  you're a superhero!"

We got some great family time.  We even got to eat at a restaurant when the twirls napped in their stroller.
