I was hoping to post this May summary two months ago!! Thankfully pictures never go out of style. So here we go!

The twils were calling their aprons "a-prints!" haha! Scarlett made "banana bread" - my kind of baking!
Jake let Scarlett use his computer. She typed in the google search window "I want some videos to watch" haha!
Jaide and her puppy "Jeff"

A few dads from our ward (including Jake) coached a little 6yr old soccer club on Saturday mornings. It was a great way to be active without paying a crazy amount of money. Scarlett really enjoyed it and the other girls liked the park next to the field. The twirls wanted to go play ball but they were nervous, so I reminded them that they can be "brave together" so they held hands to run on the field (so cute!)

Family outing to froyo. Jake building his foldable trailer for dirtbiking. Taking Jaide rollerblading.

The twirls love to help me feed Skye her squeezies. They got to use their headphones to practice before our flight. It was magically silent!!

Hanging out in the basement having a good time (getting things ready for Berlyn!)

We keep finding toads and frogs in our backyard.

McKayla came with me to the doctor to help cause the 3 older girls had annual physicals plus the twirls each got several shots. The Doctor asked them about their bedtime routine, shower, brush teeth, stories, bed. Then they added "and family prayer!" :-)

Jake and I watched the 3 Sawaya kids while their parents went to chaperone a YW overnight campout. It was crazy but fun! I was impressed that the kids were only up for maybe an extra hour total. James woke up around midnight but after a quick snuggle went back to bed. Everyone else slept through the night. But when Scarlett and Kaylie were trying to fall asleep Amber and the twirls kept goofing around. Kaylie came out and said "Mr. Jake, I am FUMING! I am trying to fall asleep!" haha!!!!

Playing with friends!

Last preschool at our house for this year.

Ashley and her friend Jane came over to play. Jane is in the Dearborn ward and recently had twin girls! The twirls just LOVED having another set of twins over here. All the girls (8 of them!) were so sweet together.

More fun with friends and the YW who just graduated.

Scarlett went to Giana's birthday party. Blackeye from the bounce house.

The twirls got sung to during primary for their birthday. That same day Jaide and Scarlett were assigned prayers. Siena was assigned the next week, but she didn't quite understand and she started crying cause she wasn't up there with her sisters.
Scarlett started screaming, I ran to help her. She had accidentally opened the toilet and lifted the seat... then she sat down and fell into the toilet! It surprised her but after she was cleaned up I was able to get her laughing about it.
I told Scarlett about Berlyn moving in "I'm so excited cause then I can say 'hi' to a Utah friend every day!"

On the movie Rio the main bird puts sunscreen on his beak and another bird says "why do you have pigeon doodle on your nose?" The twirls just love that part. They started using lotion to copy the movie. They would wear it for hours. Silly girls!!!

Siena put nursing pads on her hands "I'm using these like symbols!"

Siena: "Weeewooooweeewooo I can speak fire truck!"
Siena woke me up in the middle of the night: "I want to go to the candy store and get more candy."
Scarlett woke me up in the middle of the night: "I keep losing water bottles so I want to sleep in your bed [me: no] Then why is Siena in your bed?" Siena: "Because because because....I don't know.??" haha!
Jaide: "Skye on Paw Patrol and Skye in our family! They both rhyme!"
Jaide: "We are 5 girls and 1 dad!"

I was teaching about President Monson's April 2017 conference address. The main point is we need to be reading the Book of Mormon daily to feel the power of it in our lives. I realized that statement makes true at church and in science....
To have the Power of the Book of Mormon we need to Read it every Day.
Power of Book of Mormon is Read per Day
Power (Book of Mormon) = Read/Day
Power = Work/Time
!!!!!!!!!! President Monson was speaking directly to my nerdy soul in that talk!!!! I have always felt like the physical laws and principles of science go hand in hand with our understanding of the plan of salvation. This is just a great example of that!!!

What a busy month!
That is so cute that Sienna was upset when she wasn't doing the prayer or talk. Haha. It must have been so weird for her to not be up there with her gang. What a cutie.
The lotion pictures are awesome! Hahaha!!
