My friends and I threw a baby shower for our friend Abby. She and her husband are both engineers (nerds!!) Abby's MIL flew to MI to join in the fun! I'm so excited to meet their little man!
We had a lot of fun putting together the gold/animal/wild theme. I bought long balloons to make little balloons animals but decided that might be too cheesy. I looked all over pinterest and found these curly balloons. Jake used a balloon pump while I held the balloons twisted around a pipe. I love how wild and fun they turned out! Abby loves flavored water so we had a "water bar" with all different flavors, fruits, and herbs to add to your cup.
I made the girls eat in my room so the kitchen would stay clean that day. haha! The next day the girls enjoyed a "tea party" with mint water and little desserts from the party. It was a big hit!
