Take Your Child to Work Day

This year Scarlett was finally old enough to go with Jake to Take Your Child to Work Day.  She was so excited to skip a day of school and finally see where dad works.

Jake sent me a bunch of little snippets of their day:

  • A coworker gave Scarlett clear nail polish to play with, Scarlett put her hands up on the desk and spread her fingers out for they lady to paint them for her, haha!  She was nice and gave her little manicure.
  • In a meeting with a few high level managers to review an appearance proposal Scarlett kept asking them, “What do you think?” and “How do you like it?”
  • She would skip and dance down the hallways.
  • She loved having her very own desk to work on her projects (coloring and practicing penmanship).
  • When a couple of coworkers were tossing a ball around she asked, “Do you really think it’s a good idea to be doing that in here?”  haha!  Always the big sister.
  • Supplier was proposing a new material for one of our parts in the console. When he put the material on the table for everyone to see she stopped playing with the i-Pad and exclaimed: “Ooh-lah-lah!”  hahaha!!!
  • Told my coworker, Wendy, that she has the same name as a restaurant.
Lunch in the cafeteria...

Finger painting the side of a Transit - "I love Ford".

She's already looking forward to next year!

That is so cool! How fun for both of them (and for everyone else that got to see that sweet girl in action!)
