April Showers Bring May Flowers

April was full of silly fun!

Jaide and Siena used hair clips as clip on earrings.  The girls like to display their milk and yogurt holders at the top of the stairs when they are done.  The twirls played train with the chairs, they would take turns being the driver and taking imaginary tickets.  The twirls LOVE to make Wow! butter sandwiches with jam.  Skye acting like a big girl and watching TV with the twirls.  I looked on the camera and saw that the girls rearranged their rooms!  haha!  The twirls sleeping in the car and they love to be swaddled like a baby.  Doing crafts.  Siena tucked Mickey Mouse into her pant-seatbelt so he could safely take a ride down the slide.

The twirls are really hilarious and so smart.  They will point out things like: "song starts with letter 's'!" or "cooper and grouper rhyme!"  They have figured out how to buckle their 5 point harnesses by themselves and often they can unbuckle too.  Life changing skills!  They were watching Super Why about "more man" and I kept hearing "Mormon" haha!

SIENA

• "She's being naughty at me."
• After throwing up in the car: "I just wanted what was in my stomach to be out."
• After eating her star-shaped sandwhich, "I'm a star now!"  (arms and legs spread out)
• "I'm a genius, 9 comes after 10."
• Siena singing about Jaide's dog: "Jeff the magic puppy lived by the sea!"

JAIDE

• "Mom you are a genius."
• "I think I love you."
• "I have strong muscles, but skeletons don't."
• "I want to go play at Mrs Donald's (or Old McDonalds)." [McDonalds]
• "I want to try Skye's milk, cause I had chocolate milk but not white milk" (yes, she was talking about my boob milk!)
• Jaide's puppy is named Jeff, it's a girl, starts with "J" like Jaide.  She loves Jeff.

Here's a video I took when I saw Jaide having a snack by herself.  She would feed Jeff then feed herself.  So cute!

Skye is so yum yum yummy!  She doesn't crawl, but she does like to roll around.  Look at her little ponytail!  She likes to poop in the bathtub.  And oh my goodness does this girl LOVE to drum!!!  She can say "Mom" and "Dad", she uses "num num" for food.  At the end of April Skye started throwing her food on the floor on purpose.  Nooo!!!!  Not ready for this!

SCARLETT

• We fed the elders.  Scarlett went up to the young 18 yr old elder and asked "Are you married? [No] Well I think I'm going to marry you when I get bigger."  hahaha!!!  Needless to say his face was bright red!  It was so sweet!
• Looking up at the sky "That looks like a heart shaped cloud for me and Kody."  (Kody is in her class at school).
• "I told Kody that we are getting married and having a hundred thousand babies.  He said: 'We can't have a hundred thousand babies, why not 5?'"  haha!!!
• "I just noticed my name has 'CAR' in it!"

Scarlett lost her second tooth on 4/12. The tooth fairy left her a bunny shaped dollar for Easter.

Scarlett got her stitches out at the doctor.  The PA we saw went over to Jaide and asked "Can I take this off and look at your owie"  haha!  Jaide's sympathy bandaid totally tricked the PA!  Two weeks later the stitches were still in her eyebrow.  My friend Jenni is a PA so we went over to her house and she dug them out of Scarlett's eyebrow.  Poor girl, for dissolvable stitches they really held on.  She was so brave.  Now we use Mederma every morning.

Fun with friends!  We had a little Easter hunt at Laura's house for fun.  Scarlett yelled "this is the best day ever!"  Laura told me that she overheard Kate and Amber eating jelly beans.  They were sorting the colors and talking about them.  Then started discussing the yellow and green beans and said "I have 2 Jaides and 1 Siena."  hahahaha!!!  Name colors FTW!  A few of my friends and I went to see Beauty and the Beast.  And I love the picture of Jaide and Siena playing with the tools while the other girls are in dresses and playing princess.  Love my quirky girls!

Speaking of Beauty and the Beast, this sums up my life...

Fun with our little family.  Scarlett likes to be the "teacher" and read to the twirls at bedtime.  The twirls like to help dad out with his back exercises.  FHE fun.  And playing on the Meijer 1cent horse. They yelled "Yee haw!" without any prompting.  Jaide was wearing a hat and she even took it off when she yelled, haha!

Bubble art for preschool.  I think it's funny that most of the kids are squished on the black couch and Jaide is lounging comfortably by herself on the red couch.

We fed the missionaries and after they left (and they had used the restroom) I went in and saw that ALL of our standers were in there.  haha!  Wonder what they thought of that!  We also had a friend from the BYU FSAE team join us for dinner.  He's working for Ford now.

My SIL had a baby shower last month.  I was bummed that I couldn't be there, but I was able to help by designing her invitation.  I loved playing with the theme "April Showers Bring May Flowers".  I love making digital art, it's fun to create something but then be done with it.  I love all sorts of crafting but digital art seems so much easier for me to start and finish.
