I A Big Sister!

At night when I sing "Rock a bye baby" Jaide will yell - "No baby!  I a big sister!"  haha!  She does NOT like when we call her a baby.  She really takes this whole big sister thing to heart.

Every morning the girls rush to see baby Skye "oh cute baby!"!  It drives me crazy cause they usually wake her up! 

The girls LOVE to hold her.  Like several times a day.  It's pretty darn cute.

The girls love to sing to her too:

Siena tries to get Skye to look in her eyes "see me baby, see me!"

Scarlett's the holding champ.  She will sit and hold her for like 20 min!  So I can actually have a break!  She's my big helper (usually...)

I love when Jaide talks to Skye in her baby voice, all high pitch "atickadoogaga."

The girls like to take an active role in nursing.  They sometimes help open my bra and push Skye's head into me.  The twirls were so interested in nursing that they wanted to pretend to be babies.  They didn't quite fit on the twin nursing pillow like before.

The little helpers wanted to try pumping too.

I had to tell Siena "Don't put your nose in the baby's mouth!"  Just another day in our crazy house!  They also like to put their finger in her mouth.  I was taking a picture of Skye and one of the twirls slipped in their finger at the last second.  Silly girls.

We discovered that Skye can fall asleep when the girls are screaming.  Here Siena is throwing a tantrum and the sound put Skye right to sleep!

The twirls rolled into the kitchen burping their dolls.  Jake and I were laughing at them then Scarlett came in burping her baby - the giant dog!  haha!!!

Jaide LOVES playing mommy with her baby doll.  She had named her baby "dainbow" [rainbow] and she also calls her "flower".

I was looking at old photos and realized the girls get their love for baby sisters from me...

But maybe not so much from Jake......................
