Scarlett fell asleep while eating lunch AGAIN! Seriously, what do they put in that Easy Mac?
When we were at the car dealership a few weeks ago they had one of those kid tables with the blocks that move on the metal bars. Scarlett LOVED it. In fact, we had to pry her little fingers off one by one to leave - all while she screamed at the top of her lungs (it was lovely). Well, when we were at IKEA we came across this little toy for a few dollars. Scarlett even helped Jake assemble it (she put all the blocks on). The first night she would drag this thing all over the house. She wouldn't stop playing for me to change her diaper, so Jake had to hold it above her head so she would lay down on her back (that sounds like she's really spoiled, but when you're desperately trying to change a stinky diaper anything goes). I don't know what it is about this toy, but she just loves it!
When I'm putting on my makeup sometimes I sit her in the rocking chair and use the boppy like a seat belt. She loves rocking back and forth. I usually give her toys to play with too. Well, today I peeked my head in to check on her and caught her reading a book! SO CUTE!!!
Scarlett's friends have these really cool necklaces. Today she wore them the entire evening. When she first put them on she came up to me and said "Pretty". Accessorizing already! A girl after my own heart!
I can't believe how fast she's changing! She is so loving - she'll kiss all her toys, her parents, her friends, anything that she loves. She even leaned over and kissed her pizza when we were eating out one day!!! (Carolyn: it was Pizza Papalis). She's had a bloody nose. Her top molars are all the way through and the bottom right has poked through (lots of crying and drooling over that little guy). She loves going outside. She's very independent and doesn't want to hold our hand when she walks (which is a problem now that she can run). She is learning new words each day. I've been teaching her 1-2-3, but mostly she just says "two" over and over. We just love her sooo much!!!

Alena's daughter did the tip toe walk and actually still does at age 6. It's so cute and feminine. Wait, Nate does it too sometimes without realizing it. I guess I meant to say it's so manly and sexy.
Also, I love that she's still wearing PJs at lunch time!
I totally understand kissing Pizza Papalis. Mmm..I'd kiss it now if I had some.
She's getting ready for those high heels I bought her.
give her big kisses from us. xoxox
My kids were just saying today how much they miss Scarlett. I'll have to show them this blog update. She's a sweetie!
Gracie loves rocking chairs too. We have a child-size chair for her and she always tries to pull herself up to sit on it.
Oh-what a cutie. You two are great parents.
What a cutie pie! I can't believe how big she is getting!!
