Mother's Day

Mother's Day began with Siena waking me up cause she had a nightmare.  I put her back in bed then heard Skye screaming.  Went to change her diaper, nursed her, rocked her back to sleep.  Came out and Siena was crying cause her tummy hurt.  I went back to bed and like 15 min later Siena woke up screaming.  I went in there and she had thrown up all over her bed.  Lights on, all the older girls awake, Siena in the shower, woke up Jake (how did he sleep through most of that?!), bleach, vinegar, laundry, medicine, bedtime songs.  What a start to Mother's Day!

Scarlett was so excited for Mother's Day.  She really wanted me to have breakfast in bed.  So she put together a meal for me.  Jake worked hard to keep her downstairs to let me sleep in that morning.  Finally he released her.  She brought me a cutting board topped with a diet pepsi, yogurt, ritz, cheetos, string cheese, napkin, and spoon.  Along with her Mother's Day Card (at the end of the post).  So cute!!!  /  Scarlett invented a game for Grammy and me.  We had to stand on a line and use a little Bowser toy that shoots a stick, trying to hit the drum.  We were allowed 50 tries each!  haha!  /   Riding to church in the "party bus".  /  A few days before Mother's Day my mom and I took Laura to get mani/pedis.  So luxurious!  We even stayed out and ate ice cream!  /  Jaide, Siena, and Scarlett drew pictures on the whiteboard for me.

Jake bought me 100 Peruvian Lilies, they were so pretty and lasted a long time!  /  The girls wore their Rainbow dresses to church.  /  It was so fun to have my mom here.  She's been in Michigan for the past 3 Mother's Days!  Thanks to all my May babies.

Jake and my dad thought they were so funny of taking pictures of the back of each other's heads!

This is the book Scarlett made for me...
One thing I want my mom to know is... I love her.  She is so sweet.  I really really love her.
My mom laughs when I... Do funny stuff.  Silly stuff.
One of my favorite things to do with my mom is... Play funny games.  I tell her I can't breath. [when I'm tickling her and she's laughing too hard]

Kind of fitting that you had all the major mom jobs on Mother's Day/ :-)

You're a wonderful mother - it is so fun to watch your girls growing up! Keep up the good work!
