The rec center by our home is fantastic. Scarlett finished up her drop-off preschool classes with 6 weeks of Sports R Us. They asked the kids to roll down a cheese mat, most went length-wise, but Scarlett fully committed to a somersault.
Then they had them throw a football through a hoop - first try she got it! Then the squiggle balance beam. This girl loves sports!
I came across another class they offered. Two classes of Puppy Love for all kids 1.5-5 years with a parent. Puppy class that all of my girls could attend?!? Yes please! So Jami and I took all the girls to have some puppy fun!
Making hand prints - they LOVED this!
The class had a lot of Clifford-themed fun. Like a dog house for coloring.
Measuring how tall they are compared to Clifford.
Digging for dog bones in the sandbox.
They had some crafts we didn't finish in class, so we got to take them home and continue the fun.
Finishing our doggy houses (tissue boxes that were spray painted).
LOVE THESE PUPPIES!!!!
A few months ago I signed the girls up for swimming lessons, cause that's our tradition here in Michigan winter. It wasn't until the week before the lessons that I thought "what in the world was I thinking?!? I am huge pregnant and I have to get in the water with the twirls!?!" Luckily my friends let me borrow their maternity swimsuits so my belly wasn't hanging out!
The twirls loved being in the water. When we got in the deepish end Jaide exclaimed: "I'm swimming! I'm swimming!"
Look at these cuties!
Scarlett is in the older class now - the wonderful class where parents don't have to get wet! She loves swimming!
Their classes were an hour apart. So Scarlett stayed home with Jami while Jake and I took the twirls to class. Then we scooped them up in their towels, put them in the wagon, and took them home to get changed (since we live so close). Once we got home, Jake took a fast shower then took Scarlett to her class while I showered with the twirls. It was a slick system that bypassed the gross changing rooms (they're not really gross, it's just that I don't like public showers in general).
Yes, this happened. 33 weeks pregnant in all my glory.
