We finally finally finally had our Halloween celebration! I know it seems crazy to care so much, but Halloween's all I've got left - ever since the "the gays took over..Thanksgiving!" (that sentence would make more sense if you watch Modern Family.)
We went all out! Decorations, food, games, and costumes! It was so much fun! Here is a snippet of our party:

The clue idea came about because I wanted to do something with Scarlett's name - especially cause there are only a few years where I get to pick her costume. I made Scarlett's with fringe, sequins and a red shirt from DI (plus lots and lots of help from Christy - THANKS!). Her costume barely fit this week! I guess one month in baby time is almost a new dress size! I found Jake's jacket at a used army/navy store - then I blinged it out with tons of yellow stuff and iron-ons! I wore an old prom dress of mine and tried to make my eyeshadow look like a peacock feather. We had a ton of fun! The only thing missing was James - but we're so proud of him serving the Lord right now. Don't worry James - I will make sure we get Dad to dress up for Halloween when you get back! (seriously - I think this is the first Halloween that I remember that we've gotten my Dad to dress up - maybe it was Snort's email where she encouraged "Papa Carl" to bring his A game - thanks Snort)!

Wow! Way to make Halloween look more fun than stressful. Of course, and extra two weeks would help. :)
I have to say, I think it was Miss Scarlett. The rest of you look suspicious. She looks so innocent and cute that it's probably her way of throwing us off the trail. It's gotta' be her whodunit!

Jenni, you are so clever! I LOVE this Clue party. I love the costumes especially your hair and Scarlett! She is ADORABLE!! I can't believe I haven't met her yet. And by the way, now I can! We just moved back to Utah, so we totally need to hang out some time. We miss you guys! Plus I have a present for Scarlett. Hope you had a very happy halloween!
