Dancing Queen???

First I have to explain that I LOVE Google calendar! I think it's so nifty that I can see what Jake is up to during the day and visa versa. It makes it really easy to plan things cause I don't have to go home and check my calendar-I always have it with me.

Anyways, the other day I noticed a weird meeting notice on Jake's calendar:

"take me off ur messaging list DANCING QUEEN!"

I asked him what that meant and he had no idea where it came from. So we were freaked out that someone had hacked into his gmail. We checked everything and couldn't find anything fishy. We looked through all his calendar permissions to see if anyone had access... nothing. Plus it was such a weird message.

Finally we checked the mobile settings and noticed his old Connecticut phone number was linked up. We thought that was the answer, but we weren't sure how they could add a calendar meeting...???  So we took off the old number and put on his new number. Then we made a test meeting notice.  The calendar sent his phone a text with the meeting details. Then Jake replied to the text and sure enough it made a new appointment on his calendar.  Mystery solved!  Now that poor Connecticut person who got Jake's old number will no longer get random texts.

The only unsolved piece of the puzzle is the 'dancing queen' part. I guess some things we'll just never know!

Ha ha ha! How funny! The best part, is that I have an old phone number on my Google calendar too :) I guess I'd better change that ASAP! Thanks for the heads up!

Ha ha!! Love it!

We've had our current phone number for over 3 years, and we STILL get calls for those people. Including calls from their grandchildren!!!
