Snow White and the Little Pinkeyes

Poor Jaide wasn't feeling well one day.  She took an apple up to my room and fell asleep after eating only one bite.  Our little Snow White.

The past month we had a nasty case of pink eye rage through our family.  First it began with Scarlett who told me one day that she had some crusty gunk on her eye that she had to wipe off, but that was it.

Then the twirls got sick with nasty eyes.  I took them to the dr, Jaide got eye drops and Siena got antibiotics cause she also had an ear infection.  Jaide would only let me put her eye drops in of I let her put my allergy eye drops in my eye.  I guess that makes sense.

Then I woke up with my eyes glued shut.  I went to get eye drops.  I used the drops the rest of that day.  The next morning I woke up and my eyes were so much WORSE!  Turns out the drops contained parabens - the same chemical that cause the hive debacle.  On man!  My eyes were on fire!  They looked so terrible!  They called in new drops and after another day they finally started to calm down.

Luckily Skye only got a little crusty.  I tried to take a picture of her eyes to text to Jake - surprise!

Poor Jake, about 3 weeks after we were all better, he woke up with pink eye!  Ugh!  Hopefully it stops now and doesn't start another round.  I am not going to show you nasty pictures of our gunky eyes (you're welcome).  Instead, here are some pics of the sad sickies...

Jaide got her finger pricked for a blood test.  She was such a champ!

Tired twirls...

Jake went upstairs to put Jaide in our bed for a nap - I found him an hour later like this.  Then another day I walked in the living room and the twirls were using a sleepy dad as a pillow.

We took the girls to the dentist, the only way we could get them to open their mouths was to hold them on our laps and let them watch what was happening with our forward facing phone cameras.

We also had to bribe them... haha!
