Bumbo Escape Artists

I set the twirls in their Bumbos with snacks while I took a shower one day.  Apparently they know how to escape those little seats.  I've watched them do it a few times now, they just lean over sideways until the opposite side starts to lift off the floor, then they throw their weight forward while crawling away with their hands until their legs break free.  Clever little ladies.

Jaide wasn't too happy that the other girls were in her bed.

Trampoline/Ball Pit.

A less-than-flattering angle that perfectly represents what happens if I try to do something other than play with the girls.

These girls like to relax!  So do the parents!

Is there a fruit fly season?  My house has become infested.  I finally found a rotten apple stashed in our bookshelf from a certain 3 year old.  I think it became a breeding ground for these little bugs.  I keep making more traps cause they keep coming.  Don't they only live for like 24 hours?  Ugh.

Jake found his old remote control car in the basement.  He charged it up and it still works!  Though, the battery only lasted a few minutes.  The next day I started seeing random electronic purchases on our Amazon account.  I have a feeling that it will be restored to it's original glory in the near future.

I feel your pain with trying to play piano. Nothing is as fun to small hands as getting in the way of someone else! The remote control car looks fun. I think you should look into those four blade copters for Christmas, the ones that hold a camera.

I used to have a major fruit fly problem in Michigan. Maybe it's a thing there. This was my solution: Put about 1/4 cup of vinegar in a little bowl. Put a few drops of dish soap in that. The flies will come for the vinegar and get poisoned by the soap. It's gross but amazing.

I love the trampoline ball pit! I always wished for something like that when my boys were little. Those long winters...all that energy....not a great combination.

Smart girls, getting out of their seats. I remember once walking into a room and a child that couldn't get away was gone. Just about had a heart attack before I figured out that he had finally rolled over and managed to do it all the way across the room and get stuck under a piece of furniture. At least your girls have the decency to stay put(ish).
