Just Do It!

Good morning from my girls: Jaide, Scarlett & Sixhu.  It looks like one of those word verification things.  Little stinker is always scratching at her stickers - I have to replace them several times a week.  And Jaide pulls apart her bows.  They are going to LOVE it when we finally are done with these stinky, sweaty helmets!  Though Scarlett will have to be more careful once their heads aren't covered with a protective layer of plastic (and so will I!)

Aunt Jami bought Scarlett her first pairs of Nikes.  I found them in a random box and had to immediately put them on the twirls.

We went to Wendy's this weekend.  Jake and I have been soooo good with our diet lately (ie: depriving ourselves of everything enjoyable in life).  But due to lack of groceries we were forced to go out.  Forced.  It was the twirls first time sitting in a high chair at a restaurant.  They enjoyed the french fries but the LOVED playing with the crinkly paper that my burger came wrapped in.

The cashier thought Scarlett was so cute that she brought her a free frosty!  Needless to say we all had a good time.

This is what we do 4 times a day.  My SIL Christy found the perfect solution - it will literally save us 13.87 hours a day!

I just love watching my girls figure stuff out.  I love Scarlett's inquisitive questions and watching the babies play.  I won't force them to study engineering (I think) but I do want them to learn about the world and how things work.  It was through studying the laws of thermodynamics that I really gained a deeper testimony of how the laws of natures are in perfect harmony with the gospel.  "All things denote there is a God" (Alma 30:44).  These videos are a few examples of watching the twirls figure out cause/effect and how things work.

I left Sacrament meeting to make bottles, when I came back I found Siena munching on Scarlett's half eaten apple.  Dad is so much more fun than Mom!

Hahaha! The Crib Dribbler is hilarious. Wouldn't it be nice if you could just have food out and available and they'd take care of feeding themselves?

How fun do see all your girls developing in every way. Boomer is great; you can enjoy a dog without paying the price. Great way to have a pet.

I have first hand experience with a similar product to the Crib Dribbler. Except my baby was a calf and she became quite a bit more independent at an earlier age, but it worked wonderfully, so hopefully you will have the same luck! Seriously, that is so awesome and I can't stop laughing. Also, it's fun for me to see pictures of the twins at church. I had no idea they were matching Scarlett. That's so cute!

So why don't you make the girls hold their own bottles. Survival of the fittest I say.

We also had Crib Dribblers when our kids were young - except they were in the rabbit hutch and the hamster cage!

I must not be cute enough--no one brings me free desserts. I've gotta get it together.
