Snowman

Last weekend the weather finally warmed up enough to go play outside.  Yes, it was a scorching 30 degF!  I'm surprised they didn't get heat stroke outside!

Jake is such a great balance to my neurotic, OCD, GSD, workworkwork attitude.  All I wanted to accomplish on Saturday was reorganizing our basement.  Luckily for Scarlett Jake made sure they got some good playtime in before we spent the day working.  She had so much fun.  She loves playing outside, no matter how cold and wet she is!

I'm glad I got a photo of their snowman cause his head fell off shortly after.  "Oh my goodness!"  But it has been fun to watch the squirrels climb up and eat our veggies all week.  Too bad I don't own a BB gun...

The girls and I stayed inside by the warm fire.  Luckily they were totally content to watch the show and eat puffs.  They were there for like an hour just happy as can be!

That morning I had to make a last min appointment at the dentist cause the night before one of my fillings popped out!  And it was on the side of my front tooth!  I was freaking out and even called Dr. Paul Fjeldsted to verify that I wasn't going to somehow crack it during the night.  Luckily the dentist was able to squeeze me in and take care of it before I had to eat anything.  He said that those types of fillings get loose easy since they are small and on the edge.  There wasn't any decay or issue with it, just bad luck.  One hour later and I was back in business!  During my short visit the snow had come down hard.  I couldn't even get up our driveway - Jake had to come push the car into the garage.  This snow is ridiculous!
