That's right!!! WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!
We are soooooo excited! It took 12 long months to get pregnant and I can't believe it's really happening! Our baby is Due March 2 - 3/2/11 - which makes me ~17.7 weeks along right now! The first trimester was really, really difficult. I could barely eat anything (on the plus side - I lost several pounds). But things have been a lot better in the past few weeks (I'm making up for all the food I couldn't eat - I'm constantly hungry!)
Last Friday, I went to work in my black dress pants (fit a little snug around the belly, but not too uncomfortable). But by the end of the day, my belly had "popped" out and my pants no longer were comfortable to wear. I thought that maybe I was just bloated or something, but no - it didn't go away. I'm officially round and prego now!!! And the pain and cramps I had been feeling all week I now realize were from my ab muscles being ripped apart (yikes!). Jami and I had to make an emergency run to Target late Saturday night for Sunday clothes - I bought my first maternity outfit!!! I like that I'm starting to feel legitimately prego (but I don't like that none of my pants fit, in fact, I'm wearing sweat pants to work today!)
Oh - and when I'm laying down at night - I can feel movement in my belly. It's not like I can feel a specific kick or anything - more like a swooshy, sloshy feeling! AWESOME!

YAY! I've been DYING for an update on how the preggo thing is treating you.
Sorry you've been so yucky sick, but I'm glad that you're feeling better. I think LL wore sweat pants for basically her whole pregnancy, so I believe she'll support you in that one.
So excited for you guys!
Also, you might die in NY-there is a LOT of BO on the subway sometimes, and no where for you to puke.
I did, indeed, wear sweat pants for my entire third pregnancy. I don't think I wore the maternity clothes once. And I got so big in my first pregnancy that I outgrew my preggo pants and bought sweat pants to wear to work instead, but then went into labor a month early before I could make it into the office wearing them. :-)
Congratulations!!!! Super excited for you!! We'll be checking back regularly to see how things are going...
Congrats Jenn! I am really excited for you. Being a mom is the best thing ever. You will be a great mom.
We're so excited, congrats on having your own preggo stories to swap now,
Awesome congrats! I'm right there with you with the "morning" sickness. Good luck and enjoy the journey (I missed being pregnant after Weston). We are excited for you!
im due march 16! haha. if you want to see the baby move take a bath in warm water. the water will ripple as the baby moves around it was my favorite thing to do with hailey! haha. ohh & if your still sick ginger water is a blessing from above!
So, so, so stinkin' happy for you! Work that baby bump, girl!
congrats!!! Let me know if you need anything at all :)
AH!!! Jenni! I am so excited for you guys! You are going to be wonderful parents. As I was reading that list I was thinking, Ok either she is pregnant or has Lyme's Disease. :) Ha ha ha. I am sad we don't get to see your cute pregnant belly and go through the pregnancy with you. But it must be so great to be with family for this special time. Embrace every moment for me. Miss you guys tons. Lots of love!
That is the best news yet!!! I am so excited for you. In a couple more weeks you'll find out if it's a boy or a girl, right? I can't wait to hear the updates.
WE are so excited for you! But we need to see some pictures of "the belly" so we can ohh and awe over how big it is getting!!!!!
Congrats! I am so excited for you :) Please keep your blog updated with all the gory details of pregnancy! I can't wait to hear how much you love it :) !!!
Even though I already knew, your excitement is continually contagious. Kent's mom recently gave us peppermint essential oil, which is supposed to help with nausea. I can bring it over if you want to try it, though it sounds like you're pulling out of that anyway.
So what' with not crossing your legs? I've never heard any advice against that.
Congratulations! That's so exciting! I am very excited for you guys!!!
I can't even sit without crossing my legs; maybe that's why after 5 pregnancies I have spider veins all around the sides of my knees. (Unlike the pregnancy; they don't go away.)
