We have an IKEA lamp that we are ready to put out on the curb - broken 12V converter, and they won't sell you just a replacement converter. After watching the video, I don't feel so bad about throwing it out - and we won't be buying a new lamp at IKEA!
(If anyone feels sorry for it, you are welcome to it.)
That is a really memorable commercial, which makes it good. I kept thinking, "Are they really trying to make us feel bad for garbage? And I kind of do." It makes you think how easily the media can sway emotions adding simple things like music and camera angles.

I totally fall into the "crazy" category - I felt so bad for the little lamp (especially cause it looks like the cute PIXAR lamp)!

We watched that in my marketing class too! It must be standard material.

I was waiting for the little lamp to hop up the stairs and kill the big lamp. Someone has watched a little too much TV... :-)
