Boy -or- Girl ??????

We find out the gender of our darling little baby this week.

              *Boy     ~or~     *Girl

Little Alfreda? .or. Little Alfred?

     Mini-Jake!   or   Mini-Jenni!

Jake and I are just hoping for a healthy baby.  We're already getting to know our little baby's personality - every time I lay on the ground on my tummy or when I'm bent over... the baby will kick me!  Apparently it doesn't like being squished!!!

It's a boy, I know it's a boy. Even if it turns out to be a girl I will dress it as a boy. It's a boy.

It's a girl!!! And even if it's a boy I'll dress him like a girl! Haha, Jami- I guess one of us will have our way! Remember when we used to dress James up like a girl and we put purple sparkle gel in his hair? It's amazing he turned out normal.

I think your family needs a boy, so I'll be hoping for a boy. Although, maybe with the way things go for me, I should hope for a girl for you, and then it will be a boy.

What if it's a hermaphrodite and then it sees this archived post someday and feels bad that you wanted one or the other, but not the combo? That could be really emotionally scarring.

But since you gave that little hint about all the kicking, I'm guessing boy. My boy baby was definitely more active in the womb than my girls. Besides, maybe my one brother will supply a bunch of boy cousins for my kids and then have a girl for #5. I'm just sayin'...

(My verification word is "sweryn". Jenni, are you swearing at the thought of five pregnancies? You know that's the magic Glauser number, right?)

Boy. No Seaver that grew up in that neighborhood has been able to produce a girl. I'm just sayin'.

Emily said...

Yep...something in the Seavers' genes seems to favor boys...so I'm going for a boy. Either way, I expect to see lots of pictures and video of the little cutie!

Weirdly, I'm leaning more toward girl on this one, but the others do have a lot of data saying that would be a statistical anomaly.

You know I think it is a boy. If it turns out to be a girl, then that is what I pick. For now, boy.

I thought I'd heard rumors that you were expecting. I jumped on your blog, but it must have been before you posted about it officially. Congratulations!! I am so excited for you! I think you'd better have a boy so he can be blake's roommate at BYU.
