GLAUSER OLYMPICS
The 1st Annual Glauser Olympics was a very sophisticated and prestigious event. With competitions ranging from... the lighting of the eternal flame relay...
...hands-free donut speed scarfing (Jenni took 2nd place behind Nate!)...
... long distance paper aeronautics origami ...
... precision M&M tossing, delicate egg on spoon relay, ice cube melting, and gymnastics (twister). Tears were shed, heros were born, it was an extiting event for all. (except I can never eat a donut again!)
SEAVER FAMILY
The Seaver Household was busy with much excitement during our stay. Jami moved out of the basement and into an apartment! Mom, Jami and James all started back into school. James asked a cheerleader to his first high school dance (she said yes)! The Daniels took us to an awesome burger joint - with thick shakes and pastrami burgers (burger joints are hard to find in CT)!
Dad bought Mom a new dining table!
We went to Deer Creek for some hard core Wave Runnering (Berlyn and Braxtyn were speed demons!) When I was riding behind Jake on one of the Sea-Doos a fish jumped out of the water right in front of us and we smacked into it! Thud!
Kandy and James had a Birthday!
DIRT BIKING
Jake and I had a chance to take the dirt bikes to Tibblefork Reservoir. We rode up a trail and found the spot where he proposed to me! It was a great time - unlike the first time we took the dirt bikes out... The first dirk bike adventure we went on was at Five Mile Pass. We invited one of our old seminary students and his Dad (aka our Bishop) to come along (since they were in Utah). We were worried that the seminary student would get hurt, but within 15 min of being on the bike... his dad tried to go off a jump and crashed! Jake and I switched into super responsible adult mode and took care of him... long story short... the Bishop has stiches in his knee! oops!
MORE GLAUSER FUN
Hiking up Big Cottonwood Canyon - we saw 2 moose!
We went to the Salt Lake Temple - beautiful! After we got to spend some time with Grandma Glauser!
WAKE BORDING
Jake jumpin out of the wake!
Jake and Kyle catching some HUGE air (and yes, Kyle's standing up!)
Jake and I on the tube - so much fun!!!
My first time wake boarding! In and out of the wake like a pro (ok.. the getting out part's true, but not so much getting back in...)
Thanks to all our family for making our vacation such a great experience! We love and miss you all so very much!!!

I miss you!!! It was fun to have you two here, but we were too busy with life- I feel like we didn't get to hang out enough. But then again, I suppose there just isn't enough time for me to make up for you living so far away. I love the Glauser family photo- too cute! I need a copy.
How fun! I wish we had been there at the same time. Looks like you guys had a good time - you must have come home exhausted.
That was your first time wake boarding...and you got up?! Way to go! I'm slightly jealous, but I can admit I'm not the high-adventure type like both of you. The up side is that I probably have fewer scars (from running into parked dirt bikes-ha!).
It was great to have you both out here and we look forward to your next visit.
It was so fun to see you guys! Looks like you had a crazy busy vacation--it was probably a bit of a relief to get home and do some relaxing! :)
Hope things are awesome in CT. Can't wait to come out there and visit my east coast fam!
I always loved going west to visit my family, then all of a sudden I have my big family here. Philip & Glendys had a little girl yesterday.
Enjoyed your pictures. Somehow I feel like I got exercise by just looking at all your adventures!
Love this post. THe pictures are great & WE MISS YOU! I need to get off my lazy but and drive to CT...or hope that you come here! Hopefully we'll have clsed on our house before you come so we can part all night!
*warning....all night for us is like 10 or 11 pm!* :)
I meant party all night...not part all night--that doesn't sound like any fun!
